ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY - Women's cross country was action today at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College. The Hawks finished fifth out of fourteen teams, an improvement from last year's fourteenth place finish.
Freshman
Alaina Carpenter (Grandville, MI/Grandville) finished first for the Hawks and first overall in a time of 24:21.3 on the six-kilometer course. Carpenter also set the course record in her third consecutive victory this season.
Next, for the Hawks was senior
Milena Zosso (Fribourg, Switzerland/Golden City) finished in fourteenth place with a time of 26:31.8. Freshman
Taylor King (Spring Hill, NY/Monticello) finished next in thirty-third place overall with a time of 28:00.3. Freshman
Annie Sullivan (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy) finished in forty-fourth place in a time of 28:51.3.
Senior
Abby Cerne (Cadyville, NY/Saranac) rounded out the Hawks' scoring five with a forty-sixth place finish in a time of 28:53.5. Freshman
Anne Baskwill (York, PA/York Suburban) and senior
Hayley Novak (Feura Bush, NY/R-C-S H.S.) finished as the Hawks' displacers in fifty-eighth and fifty-ninth place, respectively.

Tylisha Gourdine (Holly Springs, NC/Watertown H.S.) in sixty-second, junior
Abby Meltzer (Holliston, MA/Holliston) in ninety-first, sophomore
Kimberly Dallar (Brookfield, CT/Brookfield) in ninety-fourth, junior
Allison Brody (Breezy Point, NY/Mary Louis Academy), and sophomore
Brooke LaCarte (South Glens Fall, NY/South Glens Falls) in one hundred ninth and one hundred seventeenth place, respectively.
