Women’s Soccer Secures Fifth Straight Brozman Cup With 1-0 Shutout of Keuka

Recap: Hartwick capped off another Brozman Cup title on Sunday with a 1-0 shutout of Keuka on Elmore Field. Sophomore
Gabrielle Kreppein (Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) scored the game's only goal in the 42
nd minute. After running onto a long ball played over the top by
Rachel Pine (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls), Kreppein beat two defenders on the left side of the Keuka goal, and tucked a shot underneath Wolves' keeper Jessica Pegg. The Hawks would dominate play throughout the match as they out-shot the Wolves by a margin of 24-0. The also took all six of the game's corners.
Cassandra Robataille (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) earned another shutout. She was not called upon to make a save. Pegg finished the contest with 13 stops.
Game Notes: After winning the Erinn K. Brozman Cup title just twice in the first 10 years of the competition, the Hawks have now won the last five dating back to 2014. With the victory today, Hartwick stays unbeaten against the Wolves with a 5-0-1 record. The Hawks extended their shutout streak to 517:14 dating back to last season. They have now posted five straight clean sheets.
