Senior Earns National Honor After Leading Hartwick to a Perfect 3-0 Week 

Earlier this week, the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) announced that Hartwick senior Caitlin Corbett had been selected as the National Player of the Week. She was previously named the Empire 8 Conference Co-Player of the Week as well as to D3hoops.com's Team of the Week. For the week, Corbett averaged 26.3 points over three wins, shooting 68% from the field and adding nine rebounds and four assists per game. 

CLOSER LOOK
Corbett led the Hawks to a perfect 3-0 week in Empire 8 Conference play and helped them solidify their hold on first place in the league standings. On Tuesday, she had one of the best all-around performances in school history, scoring 34 points on 13-16 shooting from the field, including 7-10 from three-point range. She also grabbed 12 rebounds and added three assists in Hartwick's 89-77 win over Utica. She was just four points and one three-point make away from individual game program records.

On Friday against Nazareth, she just missed a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds, also picking up six assists, two steals, and a block. The Hawks won, 76-56, avenging their lone conference loss. In Saturday's 93-50 win over Sage, Corbett scored her 1,000th career point in the opening minutes before going on to score 25 points on 11-16 shooting, adding six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
