ROCHESTER, NY – Thirty-nine students from five Empire 8 institutions were named 2019 Easton/NFCA Scholar Athletes. In addition, the St. John Fisher softball team had the 44th best team grade-point average among all Division III programs.
Over 8,000 student-athletes (8,161), a first in NFCA history, were named 2019 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. Student-athletes were honored for maintaining at least a 3.5 GPA during the 2018-19 academic year. NCAA Division III led the way with 1,928 student-athletes honored.
