The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2019 Men’s Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Senior defender Dereck France of Nazareth College was named Empire 8 Tournament Most Outstanding Player after scoring the lone goal in the 1-0 championship game win over Alfred on Saturday, Nov. 9 and leading a defensive unit to a pair of shutout wins in the tournament. France and the Golden Flyers won their first Empire 8 Championship since 2006. He was one of four Nazareth student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
