A toy that began with the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout basketball tournaments in November culminated Wednesday with the delivery of four large boxes of toys that were donated to Mary's Place Refugee Outreach Center in Rochester.

Toys were collected at both the men's and women's basketball tournaments hosted by RIT and University of Rochester and were also collected at select Nazareth home games during November.

The toy drive started three years ago and helps Mary's Place with its annual gift event for children in the Rochester area. The organization located on Lexington Avenue hosts its annual Santa Comes to Mary's Place event December 13.

Fans that donated new unwrapped toys at the basketball games were granted free admission.
