The Houghton Highlander Athletic Department has added a number of new assistant coaches to multiple sports programs this year. The coaches come from a wide variety of backgrounds, from professors to recent graduates.
"This has been a year with many new additions to the coaching staff at Houghton," stated Dr.
Matthew Webb, Director of Athletics. "We have a number of new head coaches, but even more new assistants. I am thrilled with the quality human beings we have added to our staff. Not only do they bring experience in their respective sports, they also are committed to our Houghton ideals of competing with Excellence for the Glory of God. Our assistants have already made an impact on the culture in the department, and have added a new level of energy and excitement.
