Nazareth's Hannah Miller Named to 2019 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team

From All-Region to All-American. Nazareth soccer standout Hannah Miller added another accolade to her growing list of post-season achievements Wednesday, December 18, as she was named to the Scholar All-America team by the United Soccer Coaches. Earlier in the week, Miller was selected to the Women's Scholar All-East Region team.

Miller, of Butler, Pa., was named to the third team and was one of three goalkeepers selected to the Scholar All-America team. A Physical Therapy major, Miller has a 3.93 grade-point average and was earlier selected to the Academic All-District team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

In 2019, Miller was a United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection as well as a First Team All-Empire 8 pick for the Golden Flyers. She led the team to a 9-6-2 record and finished with six shutouts, a 0.81 goals against average and a .882 save percentage.

On the soccer pitch, Miller is a two-time first team Empire 8 Conference all-star who amassed 30 career victories, including 22 by shutout. She had 317 career saves for a 0.77 goals-against average and a save percentage of .883. He was honored nine times as E8 Defensive Player of the Week in her career. In 2018, she was recognized as a second-team All-American by d3soccer.com.

Last month, Miller was also selected to the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) Academic All-District team.
