Alfred's Dom LeMorta and Hartwick's Caitlin Corbett were named the Most Valuable Players of the Empire 8 Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships to headline the All-Championship teams that were announced today.

Le Morta helped lead Alfed to their first-ever E8 Men's Basketball title as he stepped up on the conference's biggest stage, scoring 31 points in the title game. The senior was 13-20 from the floor in the team's 90-78 win over St. John Fisher. 

Corbett helped lead a very balanced Hartwick attack over the E8 Women's Basketball Championship, culminating in their first conference title. She posted 33 points over the two games during the Hawks' championship run, including scoring 20 in the title win over Fisher.
