USILA Release

Nazareth's Jack Crowley  and St. John Fisher's Zach Wagner have been selected as members of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) / Warrior and New Balance Scholar All-America team. The announcement was made recently by the USILA in conjunction with their end of the year honors.

To be eligible, a Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale). He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.

CLOSER LOOK
Nazareth's Crowley was a second team All-Empire 8 Conference selection this past spring as he recorded 21 goals and 12 assists for 33 points. He registered a team-best six man-up goals for the season. Crowley finished his career with 83 goals, 37 assists and 120 points. He is the 19th Nazareth student-athlete honored by the USILA with Scholar All-American recognition.

Wagner, who was selected to play in the North/South All-Star Game in May, helped lead Fisher to a 17-3 overall record, along with its first-ever E8 Conference Championship, and its first NCAA Tournament victory after the Cardinals dispatched of No. 11 Gettysburg in double overtime.

The senior finished his four-year Fisher career ranked 10th in program history with 49 assists and 11th all-time with 77 goals.  A two-time All-Conference honoree, Wagner wrapped up his career with 69 games played and 126 points overall.
