She was set to compete at the 2020 NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle events. Robey, who was also named the 2018 Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, won both the 50-yard (23.43 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (51.78 seconds) events and was part of the victorious 200-yard freestyle (1:36.07), 400-yard freestyle (3:32.24) and 200-yard medley relay (1:47.05) teams at the 2020 Empire 8/Allegheny Empire Swimming and Diving Championships last month.

First-year standout Abigail Santos was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year. She earned her second consecutive Empire 8 Diver of the Meet accolade after winning both the 1-meter (438.45) and 3-meter diving events (470.95). Norwood was set to compete in both diving events at the NCAA Championships.

The Nazareth coaching staff, led by head coach Scott Whitbeck was named the Empire 8 Women’s Swimming and Diving Coaching Staff of the Year. The Golden Flyers won their third straight league title, while 11 different student-athletes earned All-Conference honors. In addition, Robey and Norwood qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship.

One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2019-20 Women's Swimming and Diving Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.

To be named an E8 All-Conference selection, a student athlete must have finished in the top two of an event at the Conference's Championship Meet. Winners of the event are named to the First Team, while the Second Team is comprised of the runner-up from each event.
