COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Junior Taylor Robey and sophomore Allie Norwood have both been announced as All-Americans by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The associations determined that all student-athletes that qualified for the national championship meet but were unable to complete, would be honored with the award.
Norwood qualified for the championships on both the one- and three-meter diving boards while Robey was a national qualifier in the 50-yard freestyle event.
Robey was seeded 16th in the 50-free with her winning time of 23.43 at the conference championship meet. Norwood was third in the 1-meter competition at the NCAA Zone Championships with an 11-dive score of 434.30 and was also fifth in the 3-meter competition with a 423.20 score.
Robey was named the 2020 Empire 8 Women's Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive year, while Norwood earned her second straight Empire 8 Diver of the Year accolade.
