The Nazareth Student Athlete Advisory Committee is making a difference with a couple of community service initiatives. SAAC advisor and women's soccer coach Gail Mann has helped spearhead a clothing drive that includes winter coats for the Dimitri House, a local non-profit organization that serves people in need.

In addition, Nazareth's SAAC is promoting a drive to assist Camp Good Days and Special Times, an organization devoted to helping children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Nazareth is competing with other Empire 8 schools in the Teddi Cup to raise money for the camp to send children to Florida.

"It's a little competition to see which Empire 8 school can raise the most amount of money," Mann said.

"A huge part of our campus and our athletics is giving," said senior swimmer Taylor Robey. "To not have those events in which you can donate to these awesome causes has been tough (because of COVID-19)."
