Senior Taylor Robey continued her Empire 8 swimming domination Saturday as she broke a pair of pool records and was part of four winning events in Nazareth's 182-94 women's swimming and diving victory at Alfred.
Robey, an 11-time conference champion, won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles and broke the Alfred pool records in the process. Her 50 free time of :24.29 was a fraction better than the previous mark of :24.30 that stood since 2011. Coincidentally her 100 freestyle time of :53.55 broke the pool record of :53.73 that was set by Nazareth's Kim Schneider in 1994. Schneider went on to captured the national championship that year in the 100 butterfly.
Robey also was part of the two winning relays. She anchored the 200 medley relay (1:54.97) that included Isabella Jaskowski, Molly Schoemick and Abigail Santos. She swam first in the 200 free relay (1:44.74) that featured Darby McNamara, Paige Pasquarella and Gabrielle Shuron.
