The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2021 Empire 8 Spring Men’s Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team on Thursday, April 22. Freshman midfielder Matt Gentile of St. John Fisher College was named the Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring one goal and adding two assists in two E8 Tournament contests for the top-seeded Cardinals. Gentile scored a goal and added an assist versus Russell Sage in the championship match on April 18. Gentile was one of four St. John Fisher student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
