Bre Socker Headlines 2021 Empire 8 Spring Field Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team

The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2021 Empire 8 Spring Field Hockey Championship All-Tournament Team on Thursday, April 29. Senior forward Bre Socker of St. John Fisher College was named the Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring six goals during the tournament, leading the Cardinals to their second league title in program history. On Friday, Socker tied an Empire 8 single-game record and set St. John Fisher’s mark with a five-goal outburst in the semifinal win over Nazareth. Socker scored the lone goal in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Hartwick in the league championship. Socker was one of four St. John Fisher student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
