UTICA, NY - The Utica College women's tennis team secured its first conference win of the season after taking down Sage for the second time this season, 5-4.
The Pioneers lost doubles one however, an 8-6 win by Morgan Willis and Bianca Bockhaus and an 8-0 win by Victoria Vo and Haley Dekin secured a 2-1 win in doubles for the team.
In singles action, Morgan Willis (6-1, 6-1), Victoria Vo (6-1, 6-0) and Haley Dekin (6-0, 6-1) picked up wins to help lead Utica to an overall 5-4 win.
UC (3-4, 1-3 Empire 8) will travel to Oswego St. for its next match at 4 p.m. on September 29.
