The Empire 8 will have four teams from four different institutions representing the conference for the 2022 NCAA Division III Field Hockey, Men's and Women's Soccer and Women’s Volleyball Tournaments, which begin with first round action on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The Empire 8’s four automatic qualifiers – Hartwick College field hockey Medaille University men’s soccer, Nazareth College women's soccer, and St. John Fisher women’s volleyball – all punched their tickets to the NCAA Tournament last weekend by winning each of their respective E8 Championship tournaments. On Sunday evening and Monday afternoon, those teams learned their NCAA opponents.
