St. John Fisher College junior second baseman Noah Campaneli was named to the 2022 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Baseball Team.

As a CoSIDA Academic All-District First-Team selection, Campanelli will advance to the 2022 Academic All-America ballot, which will be released in June. To be considered, a student-athlete must be a sophomore and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30. Nominees must also make a significant impact on their team's success on the field of play.

Campanelli, the 2022 E8 Player of the Year, helped the Cardinals win the Empire 8 Championship by sweeping the three-game series against Utica University on Friday. In 44 games this spring, the junior from Pittsford, New York, paces all Cardinals in batting average (.420), hits (73), doubles (15), runs (60), stolen bases (22), and total bases (106). Heading into the upcoming NCAA Regionals, Campanelli has reached base safely in 34-straight games and is in the midst of a 12-game hit streak.

One of 13 on the Academic All-District First Team from District 3, Campanelli boasts a 3.96 GPA as a Finance major.
