ROCHESTER, NY – Jeff Rahmlow, former assistant sports information director at Nazareth College, has been named Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director at Nazareth. Rahmlow, currently serving as Assistant Director of Projects and Content through the Marketing Communications office at Nazareth, replaces Joe Seil, who recently announced his retirement after 36 years.

Rahmlow previously worked as an assistant for Seil from 2015 through 2018 before moving into his current position. His accomplishments included increasing website visibility and social media presence, spearheading Nazareth's athletics efforts for the inaugural Naz Giving Day in 2018 and transforming game-day webcasts to stream in high definition and to include instant replay and graphics.

A native of Honeoye Falls, N.Y., Rahmlow first worked for Nazareth athletics in 2012-13 on a contractual basis and later worked as a Sports Information Staff Associate at St. John Fisher for two years.

His experience also includes working as a publicist for the annual Monroe Invitational golf tournament; serving as a videographer for the Western New York Flash women's pro soccer team; and working as a multimedia specialist at Canisius College.

Rahmlow earned his bachelor's degree in Communications from SUNY Geneseo in 2010. He was a four-year member of the men's soccer team there and served as team captain in 2009.

As a graduate assistant at Canisius, he earned a Master's degree in Sports Administration in 2012. He gained a Master's in Business Administration from St. John Fisher in 2015.

"I'm thrilled to be back joining the athletics department at Nazareth after spending three years as the Assistant Sports Information Director from 2016-2018," Rahmlow said. "The Nazareth community has truly had a gift with Joe Seil being a phenomenal Sports Information Director for over 30 years — I am excited to expand upon what he has built. Joe has been a great mentor."

"I am looking forward to meeting our current student-athletes and alumni who have helped build a strong foundation of athletic excellence," he added. "It's always a great day to be a Golden Flyer!"

Rahmlow will assume his new role Aug. 1. Rahmlow and his soon-to-be-wife Rachel reside in Henrietta, N.Y.
