The SUNY Brockport offensive line of

Joseph Delgado,
Adam Montalvo,
Jacob Lucier and
Nicholas Kalke was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 31. This is the first Brockport honor and seventh overall selection for the Empire 8 this season as part of the D3football.com Team of the Week.
The Golden Eagles offensive line unit paved the way for a sixth straight win, as Brockport defeated Utica, 38-3. They helped the offense rack up 288 rushing yards on 56 carries to average 5.1 yards per carry for the game. Brockport found the end zone four times on the ground and dominated time of possession with a season-high 40:36 compared to Utica's 19:24.
Brockport's offensive line has excelled in 2023, allowing the team to rush for 222.5 yards per game, 19th in Division III. The Golden Eagles have rushed for at 200 yards in a game five times this season, including a season-high 329 at SUNY Morrisville on Oct. 21. Brockport has scored 150 points and gained 1,301 yards of total offensive over its last three games.
Brockport and SUNY Cortland meet at Grady Field in Cortland on Saturday at noon to decide the 2023 Empire 8 Championship. Both teams come in undefeated in league play, as Cortland is 5-0 and Brockport is 4-0. Cortland, is ranked No. 16 in the D3football.com poll and No. 17 in the AFCA Division III poll. Brockport is receiving votes in both polls.
St. John Fisher heads to SUNY Morrisville for a noon kickoff on Saturday, while Alfred University hosts Hartwick College at 2 p.m.
