NEW ORLEANS - The SUNY Geneseo men's and women's cross country teams both earned Top-10 spots in the rankings from the U.S. Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national coaches poll, announced on Wednesday, Oct. 23. The men's team moved up three spots from the previous week to No. 5 in the country, while the women's team advanced two spots to No. 7.
Both teams are coming off an impressive race at the Mike Woods Invitational this past weekend, where the
men's team finished first behind their top five runners all finishing in the top-14 of the race, while
Penelope Greene helped lead the women's team to first place after finishing the race first overall at 20:39.7.
