The Empire 8 announced that 23 student-athletes earned 2023 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction Recognition. This distinguished program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have exhibited exceptional academic excellence, achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
An impressive total of 509 undergraduate student-athletes across Division III have earned well-deserved recognition as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction. St. John Fisher University led the way with eight honorees, while 2023 Empire 8 Champion Hartwick College was second with four honorees.
