Olivia Dobrovosky, a graduate student on the Nazareth University women's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024.
On Monday, Dobrovosky was named the Empire 8 Co-Player of the Week, her third weekly accolade of the season. She led Nazareth with 19 points as the Golden Flyers capped the regular season with a 73-65 win at St. John Fisher to earn a tie for the regular-season title. Dobrovosky was 8-for-10 (.800) from the field including 2-for-2 from 3-point range and grabbed six rebounds. She also had three assists and three steals.
A native of Skanaeteles, NY, Dobrovosky is averaging 12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in 2023-24, while shooting 51 percent from the floor for the Golden Flyers, who earned a share of the Empire 8 regular season title and enter the 2024 E8 Tournament as the No. 2 seed. Nazareth is back in action in the E8 semifinals Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. versus either Houghton University or Elmira College.
Dobrovosky is the first student-athlete from the Empire 8 to earn D3hoops.com Team of the Week accolades this season.
