March is National Athletic Training Month, and the Empire 8 wants to thank all of the outstanding athletic trainers at its nine full-time member institutions. During March, athletic trainers across America are being recognized for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries, stay healthy and active. As health care professionals, they are highly educated and dedicated to the job at hand.
Every athlete will find their way into the athletic training room multiple times during their career regardless of if they need rehab, prehab, or simply to get checked out. The slogan from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) for this year is: "From Head To Toe."
