The SUNY Geneseo field hockey team has entered the current Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll, ranked No. 20 nationally for the week of Sept. 10, 2024.
The Knights have had a trememendous start to their season, with a current record of 4-0 heading into the weekend. Sam Lewis and Ella Greico have both tallied a hat-trick so far this season, with the Knights outscoring opponents 17-6. Greico leads the team in scoring with six goals and an assist for 13 points, while Lewis, the NFHCA National Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 4, has 11 points on four goals and three assists.
Geneseo will put its unblemished record on the line with a trip to No. 3 Salisbury University on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. before opening Empire 8 play on Wednesday, Sept. 18 against Nazareth University.
