Fourteen Empire 8 student-athletes were named to the 2025 D3football.com All-Region 2 Team. Eight players were named to the first team, while two were second team selections and four garnered third team accolades. Utica University had a league-high five student-athletes, while Empire 8 Champions SUNY Cortland, along with SUNY Brockport each had four representatives. Alfred State University had one student-athlete recognized twice.
All 14 players are eligible for selection to the D3football.com All-America team that will be announced on Monday, Dec. 22. NCAA Division III realigned Division III football into six regions in 2021. Region 2 includes the Centennial Conference, Empire 8, Landmark Conference, Liberty League, New Jersey Athletic Conference and Presidents' Athletic Conference.
Eight of the 14 all-region picks earned All-Empire 8 first team accolades. Isaiah Simmons and Adam Montalvo of SUNY Brockport and Nazair Jean-Lubin of SUNY Cortland were repeat all-region selections.Aden Wiser was the 2025 Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at various schools, and schools and conferences were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligbile. In total, 1,062 players were nominated.
All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team.
