Nine Empire 8 men's soccer standouts were named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Division III Region III team. SUNY Brockport led the way with four All-Region selections, E8 Champion SUNY Geneseo had three student-athletes honored. Utica University and St. John Fisher University each had one student-athlete represented.
Eight of the nine student-athletes selected were All-Empire 8 first team selections in 2025. Max Voyer of SUNY Brockpor and Jacob McGinnis of St. John Fisher University are repeat selections. Dylan Thody of SUNY Geneseo was the Empire 8 Offensive of the Year and Most Valuable Player in the E8 Tournament, Alex Rivara of SUNY Brockport was the Defensive Player of the Year and teammate AJ Nelson was the Goalkeeper of the Year.
Below are the 2025 Empire 8 Men’s Soccer All-Region III Selections. All-Americans will be announced later in December.
