Twelve Empire 8 field hockey student-athletes were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Region III team. E8 Champion SUNY Geneseo led the way with four All-Region selections, including two on the first team, while Hartwick College and Nazareth University had three student-athletes honored. Houghton University and St. John Fisher University each had one student-athlete represented.
A total of 192 Division III student-athletes were named to the 2025
NFHCA Division III All-Region teams sponsored by
Apex Field Hockey. Division III teams are separated into six regions: Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV, Region V, and Region VI. Each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and the second team.
All 12 NFHCA all-region picks earned All-Empire 8 first team accolades. Teammates Ella Greico and Sam Lewis of SUNY Geneseo earned NFHCA All-Region honors for the second consecutive season.
Last month, Greico was named 2025 Empire 8 Offensive Player of the Year, Katelyn Klotz was named Defensive Player of the Year and Ava Reynolds earned E8 Goalkeeper of the Year honors.
NFHCA All-Americans will be announced on December 16. Below are the Empire 8 All-Region III selections.
