The Empire 8 announced that 30 student-athletes earned 2023 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction Recognition. This distinguished program honors undergraduate student-athletes who have exhibited exceptional academic excellence, achieving a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher throughout the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year.
An impressive total of 550 undergraduate student-athletes across Division III have earned well-deserved recognition as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction. St. John Fisher University led the way with seven honorees, while Houghton University and Nazareth University tied for second with five honorees.
