The 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships qualifiers were announced on Sunday evening with a total of 23 student-athletes from the Empire 8 Conference qualifying to compete for national titles. The meet will run March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center hosted by E8 institution Nazareth University in Pittsford, NY. Live video of the meet will be available at NCAA.com.
A total of six Empire 8 institutions have at least one student-athlete who qualified and are entered in the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. Empire 8 Champion SUNY Geneseo has a total of 14 student-athletes competing. SUNY Brockport, Nazareth University, St. John Fisher University and Houghton University each have two student-athletes competing, while Utica University has one student-athlete at nationals.
There are 15 E8 women's student-athletes competing in a combined 15 different events (14 individual and one relay). Nazareth graduate student Lea Richard is competing in the weight throw for the third consecutive season. Jillian Ambler of SUNY Geneseo is competing in three separate events (60-meter hurdles, long jump and 4 x 400-meter relay), while teammates Penelope Greene, Janelle Eckl and Brynn Mooney are in two events each.
On the men's side, eight different student-athletes are competing in seven events (six individual and one relay). Hunter Logan of Utica is competing in the shot put for the third time. Jacob Miller of SUNY Geneseo is set to compete in both the 400-meter dash and 4 x 400-meter relay, while Manuel Sepulveda of St. John Fisher will compete in both the long jump and triple jump.
For each men’s individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the championships. For each women’s individual event contested, including the pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the championships. For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the championships.
