The Knights settled in as the quarter went on, and did not allow the Red Hawks to score after the four minute mark. Geneseo kept the defensive pressure up on Montclair, holding them to just eight points in the quarter. Kristin Suydam converted a layup with under a minute left to push the advantage to 11 points heading to halftime.
- The third quarter continued to see a dominant performance from the Knights, out-scoring the Red Hawks 25-12 in the frame. Geneseo was stellar down the stretch of the third, keeping Montclair off the scoreboard for the final five minutes, with five different Knights scoring in a 12-0 run to close out the quarter.
- Leading by 24 in the fourth quarter, Geneseo easily able to close out the Red Hawks and keep any thoughts of a comeback at bay, winning by a score of 71-49.
