The final two rounds of the 2024-25 Empire 8 Men’s Golf Championship are set to take place from Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, PA on April 18-19. St. John Fisher University holds a 25-stroke lead over Nazareth University after the Fall portion of the 2024-25 Empire 8 Championship.
Fall scores will combined with scores from rounds three and four this weekend to determine team and individual awards. The 2024-25 Empire 8 Champion receives an automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship, set for May 20-23 at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, NY, hosted by St. John Fisher. Three-time Defending Champion St. John Fisher will look to win its 20th Empire 8 title this season, while Utica will attempt to win its second league crown. Nazareth University is the only other E8 institution to win a men’s golf championship, earning back-to-back titles in 2002 and 2003.
St. John Fisher holds an 25-stroke lead (604) over Nazareth (629) heading into this weekend’s action. The first two rounds of the 2024-25 Empire 8 Golf Championship were held at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club in Cicero, NY on Sunday, Oct. 6 and Monday, Oct. 7. Utica University, SUNY Oswego, Russell Sage College, Keuka College, SUNY Canton and SUNY Poly are also set to compete this weekend.

AWARDS: The Empire 8 champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. The top five scorers at the end of the tournament (who played in all four rounds) will earn first-team all-conference honors with the next five finishers being named to the second team. Finishers 11-15 will earn third team accolades. The individual with the lowest four-round score will be named Empire 8 Player of the Year, while the lowest scoring first-year student-athlete will earn Empire 8 Rookie of the Year honors.
