A total of 76 student-athletes from seven Empire 8 institutions were named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2024-25 season. In addition, Keuka College, Elmira College and Nazareth University earned Team GPA honors. Keuka ranked fifth in NCAA Division III with a remarkable 3.775 team GPA
Just over 9,000 student-athletes were named 2024-25 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. NCAA Division III had 2,565 student-athletes earn a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25, leading the way out of all divisions.
SUNY Brockport led all Empire 8 programs with 14 student-athletes honored, while Elmira and Keuka had 13 players earn the prestigious academic award and Utica had 12 student-athletes honored, while Nazareth (10), Alfred (9), and Hartwick (5) had individual representation.
In addition to Keuka, Elmira posted a 3.428 and Nazareth recorded a team GPA of 3.420.
The team rankings and individual honors were submitted by member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association’s membership categories.
