CLINTON, NY – St. John Fisher women's volleyball head coach Kelly Greapentrog reached and surpassed 300 career wins as her team topped Hamilton College in four sets and swept Clark University on Saturday in the Hamilton Tournament. The Cardinals (9-1, 0-0 Empire 8) pushed their winning streak to nine games with the pair of victories.
Greapentrog, in her 17th season at St. John Fisher, has recorded 280 of her 301 career wins in charge of the Cardinals. She is 126-46 with five Empire 8 Championships in a six-year span since the start of the 2019 season.

The Cardinals went on a six-point run at the end of the first set to secure a 25-18 victory. Junior Kaylene Noble and freshman Kalyna Dannenberg each had three kills in the opening frame.

Hamilton responded with a 25-15 win in the second set to even the match.

Sophomore Lydia Fraser led Fisher with seven kills in a 29-27 victory in set No. 3. An Ana Gutman kill and a Dannenberg service ace secured the frame for the Cardinals after Hamilton tied the score at 27.

The Cardinals had 11 kills and hit .320 while securing the match win with a dominant 25-15 win in the fourth set. Dannenberg pounded six kills in the frame.

The victory marked Greapentrog's 300th as a head coach.

Dannenberg, Fraser and Noble each had double-doubles in the match. Dannenberg had 14 kills and a team-high 17 digs, Fraser had a season-high 14 kills and 11 digs and Noble had 12 kills and 11 digs.

Gutman slammed six kills while hitting a team-high .273. She also recorded four block assists.

Morrow had a match-high 42 assists. She has had 40 or more in three of the Cardinals' 10 matches so far this season.

The Cardinals' 10 blocks marked a season high. Senior Madalyn Bouton accounted for a career-high six of them, including five assists and one solo.

The Cardinals took the first set 25-21 despite hitting just .150. Fraser and Dannenberg each had three kills in the win.

The Cardinals came out strong for the second set, overpowering Clark 25-14. Fisher had nine kills on 22 attempts for a .318 hitting percentage in the set.

The Cardinals rolled Clark again in the third set, completing their fifth sweep of the season with a 25-13 win. Fraser had four kills in the frame.
