Daniel Manneh of SUNY Brockport Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

SUNY Brockport wide receiver/return specialist Daniel Manneh was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, Sept. 30. He becomes the fifth Empire 8 student-athlete to earn the prestigious honor in 2025.

Manneh, a senior from Parkhill, NY, was named the Empire 8 Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday. He lit the scoreboard up with three touchdowns in the first quarter for Brockport in a 56-0 win over Hartwick to open E8 play on Saturday. Manneh started the contest with an 80-yard return on the opening kickoff for his first touchdown of the day. Later in the first, Manneh took a screen pass 23 yards for a second touchdown. Just minutes after, he took a punt all the way back for a 67-yard score for touchdown number three.

In front of the homecoming crowd, Manneh had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown to go with 148 return yards and two touchdowns on special teams. He is in the top-10 nationally in both average kickoff returns and punt returns. In addition, Manneh has caught 24 passes for 313 yards this season with four total touchdowns (two receiving, one kickoff return, one punt return). He is averaging 139.75 all-purpose yards per game in 2025.

All eight E8 teams are in action on Saturday, Oct. 4. SUNY Brockport heads to St. John Fisher for the 20th Camp Good Days and Special Times Courage Bowl at noon. Alfred University hosts Hartwick and Alfred State College hosts SUNY Morrisville at noon, while SUNY Cortland takes on Utica University at 1 p.m. Here is the complete 2025 Empire 8 football schedule.
