The 2026 Empire 8 Women’s Golf Invitational is set to take place on Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12 at Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club in Cicero, NY. Each team and individuals entered will play 36 holes of golf, 18 on Sunday and 18 on Monday. St. John Fisher University will look to repeat as E8 Invitational Championships, while fellow student-athletes from St. John Fisher University and Utica University will compete for the team title and student-athletes from SUNY Geneseo, Keuka College and Russell Sage College, will compete for individual honors over the 36-hole event.
Sunday's action will begin at noon, while the women will tee off at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Fans can follow along on the

2026 Empire 8 Invitational Team Capsules (Sorted by 2025 Results)
St. John Fisher
The Cardinals of St. John Fisher will look repeat as Empire 8 Invitational Champions after a dominant showing to win the 2025 title. The Cardinals return Emma Sweazy, the 2025 E8 Invitational Champion and Rookie of the Year and senior Sarah Burgess, two-time E8 Invitational runner-up and All-E8 first team selection. St. John Fisher won the Nazareth Invitational on Oct. 4-5 by 27 strokes. Burgess, Sweazy and Hailey Baughan have earned E8 Golfer of the Week honors this fall. Gabriella Dardis and Lauren Garsin will also look to contribute for the Cardinals.
Nazareth University
Nazareth will look to reclaim the 2026 E8 Women’s Golf Invitational title after emerging victorious in 2024. The Golden Flyers have enjoyed success this fall has a full group of student-athletes ready to defend its team championship. First-year Emily Mayer won the individual title at the Nazareth Invitational last weekend and is a two-time E8 Golfer of the Week. Junior Bethany Wineburg, an All-E8 first team selection in 2025 and teammate Lainie Liberatore, an All-E8 second team pick, will also lead the way for Nazareth. Savanna Warfield and Abby Denz will also vie for individual accolades.
SUNY Geneseo
The Knights will have a trio of student-athletes, Avery Smith, Lydia Hickey and Avery Keller competing this weekend after the Knights finished third in each of the last two E8 Invitationals. Hickey, a junior, was an All-Empire 8 second team selection last season, while Smith finished seventh at the Nazareth Invitational last weekend. Keller placed ninth at the Keuka Fall Invitational on Sept. 24.
Utica
Utica will send a strong group of student-athletes to Cicero, as the Pioneers have earned a pair of second place finishes during the fall season. Sophomore Claire Draper has emerged as Utica’s top finisher in each event to date this season. Megan Wright, Sianna Kenyon and Jordan Dorrity will also look to lead Utica.
Keuka
Keuka junior golfer Olivia Hatch is set to compete for the Wolves this weekend.
Russell Sage
First-year Sara Flandreau is expected to represent the Gators this weekend. She finished 11th at the Keuka Fall Invitational on Sept. 24.
