Senior Colin August of Hartwick College, seniors Lane Edinger and Tyler Manning of St. John Fisher University and senior Hunter Cupp of Alfred University were selected by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) to play in the North-South Senior All-Star Game for 2026. The contest will be held at Randolph Macon on Friday, May 22.
August, a attackman from Garrsion, NY, a three-time second team all-conference selection, had a standout final season as a Hawk. He tallied 62 goals, tying the school record, while adding 66 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers.
Edinger, a midfielder from Tully, NY, was an E8 a first team all-conference selection, had his best season as a Cardinal in 2026. He led the way for the Cardinals with 64 points and 21 assists. He totaled 43 goals and 24 ground balls.
Cupp, a face off specialist from Bath, NY, was an E8 second team all-conference selection, had a historic season for the Saxons. He got a national nod by being named to the USILA Team of the Week back in March. He broke or tied five school records putting him in the top spot for career ground balls and a face off wins. He wrapped up season with 274 face off wins and picked up 197 ground balls.
Manning, a goalkeeper from Glenville, NY, was the 2026 and 2025 Empire 8 Goalkeeper of the Year, finished his season with an 7.80 goals against average and a .602 save percentage for the Cardinals in 2026. He recorded a 6.12 goals against average and a .624 save percentage in league play. A native of Glenville, NY, Manning has had 10 games with at least 10 saves, including a season-best 18 in the Empire 8 Championship game against Nazareth on May 2 en route to winning Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
