What motivates you to keep pushing yourself as an athlete?
Playing for my teammates motivates me to keep getting better as an athlete. If we all do better individually, we will all do better as a team.
What gets you excited to show up to practice every day?
Getting to see my teammates who are also my best friends, and knowing we get to keep making memories together.
When you're having a difficult day, what keeps you going?
My support system, which includes my teammates and coaches. Knowing they are there for me no matter what.
What makes all the time and effort you put into your sport worth it?
Seeing the results both personally and as a team. Seeing the hard work pay off through personal achievements and our team, not just all through wins.
What does success mean to you?
Improvement. You are getting better each and every day. It isn't just about having a successful result in a game, but in all aspects.
What is your favorite aspect of being a student-athlete/favorite most rewarding aspect of college life?
Getting to have an outlet outside of school work and life. It's just a lot of fun!
What are you working toward right now?
As a team, we are working towards winning a lot of games that we did not win last year, especially conference games. Personally, I am working towards getting my teaching certifications.
Career goals after college?
I am hoping to be a middle or high school english teacher and eventually get my masters in education.
