E8 CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY
- An official should not be assigned to work an Empire 8 assigned game at a particular school if one or more of the following exists:
-If any official is an alumnus or has a member of their family enrolled in one of the participating institutions.
-If the official is related by blood or marriage as follows: (parent, grandparent, child grandchild, brother, sister, brother in law, son in law, etc.) to a person affiliated with a school involved in the contest.
-If the official or family member attended classes or worked at either institution within the last 5 years.
-If the official has a child who graduated from one of the institutions within the previous 5 years.
