Men’s Golf Athlete of the Week – Moravian

Jim Maru shot two rounds of 76 last week to lead Moravian. He had the low score at five-over par as the Greyhounds defeated York College of Pennsylvania and DeSales University - 318-323-329 in a tri-match hosted by DeSales. Maru then was four-over par to tie for 11th of 88 golfers at the Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic at the Hershey Links. The two rounds of 76 lowered Maru's season average from 87.4 to 84.1 strokes per round and were the first times in seven total rounds he had been below 80.
