Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week – Ithaca

Jenn Randall won the three events in which she competed Friday and Saturday at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships helping Ithaca to its fifth straight outdoor title. Randall, who met three ECAC qualifiers, was named NYSCTC Outstanding Women's Track Performer of the Meet. Saturday, Randall won the 1,500-meter run in a school- and championship-record time of 4:29.52. She snapped Kate Leuger's record of 4:30.97 that stood since May 28, 2011. Randall also won the 800 in 2:13.91. On Friday, Randall anchored the Bombers' 4x800 relay team that smoked the competition by more than seven seconds to win the race in an ECAC-qualifying 9:26.51.
