Rossi was named Most Valuable Player in leading fourth-seeded Ithaca to the title at the Empire 8 Men’s Basketball Championship. The nation’s leader in assists averaged10.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds as the Bombers posted back-to- back double-digit wins to earn a trip to the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship. He totaled 10 points and seven assists as Ithaca handed top-seeded Hartwick its third loss of the season (second to the Bombers), 79-67 in the first semifinal. Rossi finished with 11 points and seven assists in the 71-55 win over Nazareth in the final.
