Alex Svoboda, Ithaca College Jr., Bayport, NY/Bayport HS

Svoboda won the heptathlon at the NYSCTC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a school-record 4,294 points on Saturday after sitting fifth at the conclusion of the first day of competition. He won the shot put with a toss of 11.03 meters and finished second in the long jump with a mark of 6.03 meters. Svoboda placed third in the 1,000 meters in 2:52.51.
