Carly Jones, Ithaca College Jr., Liverpool, NY/Liverpool HS

Jones was named Swimmer of the Meet at the Empire 8 Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. She posted a time of 2:17.31 to win the state and conference titles in the 200-yard breaststroke, automatically qualifying her for the NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Her time set a school record and broke state and Empire 8 championship marks. Jones also qualified for the national meet and set records across the board in taking the 200-yard individual medley in 2:04.86. She set school and state meet records by winning the 400-yard individual medley in 4:27.71.
