Junior Emilia Scheemaker shattered her own triple jump record to lead the Ithaca College women's track & field team in competition Saturday at Cornell's Upstate Challenge. Scheemaker's jump ranks first in the nation by a startling 54 centimeters. She had held the triple jump school record with a 12.00-meter jump since March 1, 2013. Scheemaker placed second in the event with a mark of 12.25 meters (40' 2.25") to handedly qualify for the ECAC Championships.
