Schaffer was named Most Valuable Player of the St. Lawrence Invitational, averaging 5.1 kills and 3.4 digs per set with tournament totals of 72 kills and 48 digs.  She opened the week with 14 kills and nine digs in a three-set win over Oswego and recorded 19 kills each in back-to-back wins over SUNT IT and Plattsburgh.  Schaffer ended the week with 20 kills and 14 digs in a five-set loss to the Saints.
