Ormond earned a pair of wins during the week, allowing just two hits, two walks and one run, while striking out 15 batters over 11 innings for the Cardinals.  On Tuesday, she carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning before allowing a hit with one out in Fisher’s 6-0 win. She struck out seven batters in the complete-game one-hitter. She followed that up by striking out eight batters and allowing just one hit and one run over four innings in a 9-1 win over Elmira Saturday. It is her second straight E8 weekly accolade and third overall of the season.
