Newman led No. 11 St. John Fisher to a pair of home wins on Friday, recording 77 assists to go along with seven service aces, sox blocks and five digs in eight sets played. Newman recorded a career-high 49 assists to go along with five blocks in a five-set win over Buffalo State. He added 28 assists and six service aces in a three-set win over Wittenberg College.
