McLaughlin made his mark at the SUNYAC Championships with a 1st place finish at 165 lbs. scoring 20.5 points. McLaughlin won by fall in the second round and tech fall in the quarterfinals before earning a 10-3 decision in the semifinals. McLaughin had a strong match in the championship, winning by major decision of 10-0 over Mason Rappold of Oneonta. It is McLaughlin’s second E8 weekly honor of the season.
